It's drizzling here too. On and off rain is predicted through Thursday. It will make finishing my mulching project harder but at least I don't have to water! Going up to 78 by 5pm, going down to 68 overnight.
We have been getting light rain for the last few days but it has measured in about .1 or .2 inches every day. Not enough to make a dent in our 8in deficit for the year
But a big T-storm cell just went through and gave us some serious rain. I may have to cut the grass in the near future! It has been so dry that the grass crunched underfoot and I really can't remember the last time I mowed.

73/59, cloudy early, sun came out late morning and it's felt warmer than 73 working outside this afternoon. No rain in the forecast until tomorrow night. Should be able to get some more work done outside tomorrow; with the ground this wet weeds should pull out fairly well.

Donna, Those are yucca. They have had a really good bloom this year. The blooms are finishing up soon and it is a bit of a chore to cut the big stalks after the bloom. The plants look good year round so I enjoy them on my sunny front slope.

Humidity rolled in around midnight making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The air is so thick, sticky and heavy, humidity in the 90's with dew point around 69 or more. Cloudy, lots of showers today and some very heavy downpours that added up to just over an inch of rain in the gauge. High was 79, low 67.

Dave, does someone take care of your plants in TX when you are in MI? Especially in excessive heat/drought? Just curious how you handle gardens in such different locations.
