Dear fellow gardeners! Smiling

I hope this post finds you all well and very blessed. As the temperatures rise, I have some unsightly bulb foliage (allium, daffodil, hyacinth, snow drops, tulip, etc.) that I would like to trim down so to make the beds more tidy. I know we have to leave the foliage for 'x' amount of time but I was curious what x would equal. Smiling

Are all bulbs the same? The most unsightly foliage belongs to the alliums and the tulips so I would really love to trim that back.

I thank you all most kindly and welcome any advice.

Most sincerely and many blessings,
Benny

If there is no green on the foliage you can cut the tulips and daffodils back now. If there's green still, leave them until brown because the leaves are feeding the bulbs.
Alliums you can cut back any time, they don't usually need the foliage to feed the bulbs unless they are the really big blooming ones but even then I think they will be ok.
