Thanks for the welcomes!🙏🏻 I'm new to this. I'm currently in the Early Spring Extravaganza, my first-ever online seed swap. I didn't know anything about them until @DraDiana lured me and now I'm afraid I already know too much! How is it that seed addicts can sense others? 😂

Anyway, I don't have a stash of harvests because I wasn't expecting to have any use for the seeds. I should be able to collect plenty before fall. Mostly I grow perennial flowers but there's a range of possibilities here. It will be nice to have someone to share excess purchases with too. It's always sad when 90 seeds die because I could only use 10.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome @Hortaholic. May the possibilities afforded by this swap carry our imaginations through the current snow and ice bound weeks to spring without feeling - as my late friend Maggie used to say - "plucked." It's not supposed to be like this below the Mason-Dixon line ack.

Maybe it's time to start a dedicated thread for this, but I am enamored of the Orange Hat tomatoes from DraDiana's swap seeds in Mile High 3.
These germinated about 2 weeks ago, all 8 of them, and they are already spreading out. They are the miniest mini tomatoes I've grown thus far and I don't expect I'll move them into the greenhouse at all. I've given two away and I'll keep the rest close where I can eat 'em. It shouldn't take but about 7 more weeks.

Newbie Q: Why is it called the Mile High Seed Swap? I don't see anyone from Colorado yet.

I think the "Mile High" name is because of the entry requirements - to offer 50 different named varieties, and no recycling of traded seeds. The name was picked before that was reduced to 50 from 100.
I couldn't ever come up with more than 80, so I joined after that requirement was lowered.
