It's that time when I begin looking for scapes and yes!! found four plants with scapes.

Black Eyed Stella--there are two, but one is hidden by foliage.


Tribal Counsel--one scape.


Stella's Sparky--big winner with eight--sorry, can't get all of them to show.


Prickly Sensation--this was a surprise today, there are two. I don't remember this one showing up so early.

I found more scapes today also.'Filled with Joy' had a scape, it was the only registered daylily today that I found with a scape. It is within just a few days either way of being it's normal first scape period.
I did find 5 seedlings already with scapes. Looking so forward to bloom time this year hoping to finally have some decent seedlings.

I found scapes on two of DD1's daylilies today. One of my two fan seedlings now has two scapes

Bitsy has 14 scapes, also Tiger Time, Sunshine Melody, Etched Eyes, Aztec Headdress, Jedi Tequila Sunset, and Homer Howard Glidden

6+ found on the Stella de Oro clump today and one new one on a NoID

... and meanwhile, we are expecting another foot of snow by end of the week. I am so looking forward to seeing your blooms, I will enjoy spring vicariously through your gardens.😊

Oh gosh. I would hate to see snow now, but we still have dogwood winter coming up, so I guess anything is possible.

Scapes on Aerial Display, Brighten My Day, a plant I have temporarily lost ID ['til it blooms] and another seedling

Scapes found this morning on 'Celtic Butterfly', 'My Heart Belongs To Daddy', 'Tar and Feather', 'Quasimodo' and 'Pandora's Charm'. Also found more seedlings with scapes.

Scape found on Black Eyed Stella...mine undoubtedly gets less 🌞 than @Avedon due to 🌳 shade.

I have seen scapes on eight daylilies. There may be more; I haven't looked really closely as we just got back last night from being out of town. Here are the ones I've seen so far:

Awesome! I am sure I don't have scapes on Whooperee yet, but you guys have reminded me that it is one of my first to bloom here. Yeah!!

No scapes here yet, although Dumortieri has bloomed mid Apr before. My iris seem to be early this year, so I am getting excited! So fun to watch as scapes get closer and closer to my zone!

Counted the scapes on Stella's Sparky--12! I've had this plant for just a year, and it has been amazing.

Also found scapes on Stella de Oro, Little Rosy Cloud, Misty Mountains Cold, Samwise the Brave, and Embrace Diversity.

over the last 3 days have found scapes on unknown Wild, Rue Madeline, Spanish Masquerade, Moonlit Masquerade, Venetian Baroque, Coral Cay, Winds of Tide, Heaven Can Wait, Early Fragrance, Canadian Border Patrol, Collier, Spacecoast Firestarter, Wyoming Wildfire, Hampshire Hoyden, Emerald Splendor, Tuscawilla Tranquility, Kate Carpenter, and Web of Intrigue
