Wow, Alma!

Today I found scapes on Attic Antique, Stella's Pink Pretty, and Little Print.

Over the last couple of days, scapes have rocketed up on Angel On A Cloud [2], Endless Heart and Legs Limmer, Fragrant Treasure aka "Fragrant Returns" and 10 of the usual suspect extra early seedlings. Need Bloom Badly

While out planting the order I received from David's Daylily Garden I checked out the daylilies inside the fence and found these had scapes.

I had Rose Masterpiece for a few years. One of the few that I gave away and sometimes wish I had back. But space constraints prevail. It is a beauty.

While I was cleaning up the yard after a thunderstorm, I found scapes on two more daylilies: All About Eve and Mary Ethel Anderson.

How did your order from David's look? I have three plants coming next week. They were all $12.00 each.

I normally take photos, but got in a rush and did not take any. But, the fans were all small, they looked like young plants that had been separated, and they were trimmed short. However, he sent three fans on all the ones that were really small, the largest of the fans only had two. The roots on the plants were very nice and I expect them to recover quickly and do well because the plants all looked green and healthy. I was a little disappointed at first when I opened the box, but after seeing the three fans of each, except for the one cultivar, I was pleased. I would definitely order again. I love the idea of selling smaller plants for the $12 price and really do appreciate the $15 dollar shipping no matter how many you order. I hope that becomes a model for other sellers, I don't need plants the size of leeks that shrink down to onions. I do love those huge fans, but I had much rather have the $12 dollar price for a daylily rather than $45.

We got 3.2 inches of rain last night, today is very windy with light sprinkles occasionally. No washes from the rain.
I was pulling weeds again today and found these plants outside the fence with scapes.

Found scapes this morning on Jedi Brenda Spann, Purple Pinwheel, Yesterday Memories, and Dynamite Returns (a bunch). Dynamite Returns was just divided earlier this spring, so I'm surprised and pleased.

Also just found scapes on two Kaskel low-rust seedlings I received from Linda Pinkham.

Edit: Found scapes today on Whatchamacallit and Butterscotch Ruffles as well.

Yesterday I found scapes on Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. Really looking forward to the blooms on this one.

I am seeing more and more scpaes now so will probably stop updating here and will let others continue.

Many new scapes on seedlings & a few registered daily now. Just checking so the aphids can be shut down when they show up.

I'm so glad to hear it, Alma. You are welcome. I think you will love it.

Finding more scapes here and there--Tribal Council is up to seven and a bud is showing color. Stella's Sparky is the headliner with about 25. When this plant was moved in 2022, it has really responded with all the sun it gets that it didn't have before. Early Shirley has two and I was surprised to see that My Magical Moment has put up a scape. It will be a FFOE and I am looking forward to that day. Stella's Ruffled Fingers have several scapes--could be more I just haven't really noticed yet.

I have been busy the past few days so I have quite a few new ones to report with scapes, hope I am not listing any repeats.
Labyrinth, Lady Dragon, Wings On HIgh, Heman, Palladian Pink, El Padre, Barbara Mandrell, Spacecoast Sea Shells, Jedi Dot Pierce, Rachel's Eye Lashes, Winged Migration, Love on the Rocks, Reason For Pleas'n and California Sunshine.

By the time I spotted scapes on Dumortieri, it is almost ready to bloom. Probably in next day or so, buds are fat and lots of color. No surprise, this is about normal bloom time. But I found several scapes on Martin Blondeel!!! I think it did bloom last year 1st time on May 20.

Probably miss some, but the list for now:
Lillian's Vapor Trail has approximately 22-25 scapes
Miss Victoria isn't far behind with a similar total
Early Shift just planted last fall has three scapes
