thank you, christine. it really is a beautiful flower. It doesn't show in the picture but the stamen (I guess it's called) in the middle is a deep fuchsia color.

So beautiful that I'm not going to look at it when I'm near my little ones that I've been nursing back from neglect. Might make them jealous.

Do you feed it? If so, what and when?

Very pretty!

Every white Christmas cactus I have ever seen has fuschia or red in the center or at the base of the flowers. I don't think there are any truly pure white ones.

I am not the original poster, but I feed all my epiphytic cacti regular orchid food, albeit at 1/4 the recommended strength and only a few times per year.

thank you all.

actually, tx_flower_child. I rarely feed it. every once in a while, and not during the blooming season, I will put the used coffee grounds (which would be nitrogen) on the top of the soil and lightly mix it in. I also let them dry out thoroughly between watering. I have found that I have better luck not fertilizing the cactus.
