No repeats. Once they're featured for one day, they're done.
There are some salvias that I try and search the net and get nothing in info, so I move on to other salvias. Good thing there are new salvias every year.
Salvia number just went down to 2,155. One of the Rosemary plants was deleted, since it was another name for another rosemary plant in the database.
Salvia plant of the day only started a few years ago. Since there was already a daylily plant of the day going on here at the website, I asked Dave if I could feature salvias and he said yes, so it started.
Salvia leucantha 'Midnight' was the first one to be featured and that was on the evening of Sep 2, 2015. (I had to go back to the earliest past plants of the day to find when it started and that it was the first one!)

When there is a salvia without a "name", such as Big Red Sage (Salvia penstemonoides) on the evening of Sept. 9, 2015, then nothing shows up on the main page of this website but it's still featured.
