We came from here
The thread "Our Orchid blooms in February 2012" in Orchids forum

Let me get the month started with a single bloom of my Jumellea comorensis. The plant hasn't stopped blooming all Winter....The pretty blooms are lightly fragrant.

Happy March!

This Phalaenopsis which we got as a gift last Christmas has been opening her buds gradually, and still in bloom.

I'll toss my hat into the ring with Dendrobium spectabile. It is hard to take a good picture of it due to its continuing bad hair day. I blame the humidity. Hilarious!

By the way, March 2 - 4 is the Tampa Bay Orchid Society show and sale at the Egypt Shrine Center. I have applied fire retardant to my buying shoes and will be at the door when they open at 10 AM. I'll be looking for Den. smilliae among others.

Open Windows? I have a Bulbo echinolabium blooming right now, but it was tough to get to it for a picture today.... Whistling
But I did get some pictures of my Pleurothallis dilemma. I took it off the mount a month ago, there was too much tightly packed Sphagnum around the roots. So far so good.
I like the little bows -

And the little Pleurothallis brighamii has a couple of "Flies" open today.

Thanks Carol. The good thing is that many of the "interesting because different" ones are in many cases nicely small plants. Smiling

Bree, interesting color on the Ctna X. and that is a very nice Paph group!

Bree, I like the two end photos better than the middle one. The color is a little nicer. I also like you Kat E-Sun and of course your Paphs.

Ursula, the orange Leptotes was a great find. I love it. I also like the Lc. Rojo. Very nice.

I'm just back from the orchid show and sale so I'll post over on the other thread.

Bree, I prefer yours! The colors in the other two appear "broken", while your's looks like it was meant to be that color and pattern. Also, it is less common.
