Didn't see a June 2018 Seedlings thread so I thought I'd start one. Even though this was posted the other day, I'm sharing it again.

I'm not a pink fan, but I love this because as I look at it, I see potential in it for possibly a large eye or a broken pattern if you cross it with certain crosses. Put a slightly different way, I like how the eye isn't defined, it's blurry and might open future generations to a wash of color across the petals.

Nice seedlings Daniel, some really bold eyes.
Interesting Stan, I think that could produce some really different seedlings.

This bloom has some rain damage but I don't think I have seen a mini with this amount of ruffling on the petals.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what that stippled seedling I shared settles into.

Not a lot going on here, so I have started the next generation. These are from 2017 seed (360) and will wait until the 2018 seed are ready to plant the other 500. Every cross will have at least 50% of my own stuff in it. I will only plant about 800 this year, enough for one bed.

Fred that's enough to keep one busy for a few minutes. I couldn't even imagine dealing with the number of seeds you, and a few others posting have dealt with. I'm sure I can speak for a few of us here, we look forward to your next seedling faces!

This is the first thread I check when I come home after work each day! The seedlings are so exciting to see! Y'all have some really, really outstanding seedling blooms!

Fred - So you are planting nearly 900 seedlings in one of your raised beds? Wow! Your patterned blooms are just beautiful!

Stan - Stippled cross of Maureen Faber x Dovealicious is soooo cool! What a unique cross and bloom!

Daniel - Love the rich eye colors of your seedling blooms, sepecially moonlit masquerade x Off beat.

I go to work so early this summer (unfortunately too early), I don't have the time to check or take photos (or measurements) of the daylily blooms. The blooming in my garden has slowed down substantially, but this morning I had a really nice one bloom that I have seen for the very first time, so was able to get the stats and photos.

SSS05 (Dragonfly Dawn x Whale Tails):
Thumb of 2018-06-09/beckygardener/c07d15

And 2 days ago, I saw this one and managed to get a photo of it (no time for stats) before rushing off to work:

CCC131 (Trahlyta x unknown):
Thumb of 2018-06-09/beckygardener/049733

CCC107 (Drink the Light x God Save the Queen) is reblooming with 2 scapes. This is such a pretty bloom. I love the colors! Foliage does show some rust, but not as bad as others I have. I am going to keep evaluating this one. May have to consider it afterall unless I can breed it with 1.0 rust resistance success. This was a very early morning photo before it fully opened.
Thumb of 2018-06-09/beckygardener/1d8f8b

And this is another Trahlyta x unknown seedling that I have been growing for a few years. This one is a keeper for me! It blooms consistently every year and the bloom is something that I, personally, really like.
CCC67 (Trahlyta x unknown):
Thumb of 2018-06-09/beckygardener/16db1c

I am seeing reblooms on some of my favorite seedlings. That is one of the characteristics that I look for. I love enjoying the blooms at least twice a year!

This is one of my older crosses. It is a blooming machine. Last year it bloomed and then re-bloomed 2 more times. The flower itself is not as appealing to me, but it does demand my attention because of the colorful bloom. One of it's parents is Laughing Clown and the bloom colors do remind me of a clown. The rebloom properties and rust resistance makes this a keeper for breeding purposes.

So many great looking seedlings here, so much fun to see what everyone gets and some unexpected results sometimes. I really like that ruffled mini, Fred. And Becky, Dragonfly Dawn x Whale Tales is especially nice to me.
