My new seedlings have just started to bloom. I've gotten some real dogs to start out with, and one that was first a frog but is trying to be a prince.

(Sun Bear X Julie Newmar) x Blazing Saddles - Bloom size just over 8 inches and has some white teeth along the edge. Vigorous growth going from one fan to four in less than a year.

Thank you to all for your kind compliments. It's partly the luck of the draw when you grow a seedling. I've gotten amazing blooms from unexpected ones and ugly blooms from crosses that I thought would create something amazing. One just never knows what a cross might produce from any given seed.

Debra - CCC107 (Drink the Light x God Save the Queen) originally had it's first bloom of the year on April 13. I took a photo of two blooms on May 2 and also shared a photo of it's sibling (CCC15) in the photo above it, in this post: https://garden.org/thread/view... It's sibling CCC15 is still blooming, while CCC107 is now producing reblooms. Both seedlings I've enjoyed, though CCC15 has produced the better foliage. It's always interesting to me to see siblings that look more different than the same. I have also noted that the color is more vivid when the temps are a little cooler on CCC107. The heat here in central Florida is enough to drain the color out of anything living. Sticking tongue out

BTW - Your (Sun Bear X Julie Newmar) x Blazing Saddles is most attractive! I could imagine using it for hybridizing to see what it might produce!

shive1,
I often don't care for teeth on a lot of daylilies but (Sun Bear X Julie Newmar) x Blazing Saddles looks very nice with it's white teeth.

We have been gone and missing the blooms and hybridizing. Back home this week and catching up by dabbing lots of pollen and weeding. Here are some 3-4 year old seedlings that I selected for evaluation.

These first 2 are sibs and there are 2 more that make this cross a real winner. I lost the parent seedling of these which is #12-450(Stargate Portal x Fancy Face)'
12-450 x Cosmic Kaleidoscope

These next 3 are sibs and this cross gave me so many really nice flowers with such variety.
These are Galaxy Explosion x (Nikki Schmith x Blue Oasis)

I am always under the impression that my seedlings must hate me. Yours are marvellous. Mine are always so and so.
Anyway, first flower ever for this seedling.
I found out I made a mess with tags so now I'm not sure who the parents are. Weather is not ok, still a bit cold and rain this night.

Thumb of 2018-06-14/cybersix/f4b33a

It's 33" tall and 8" wide.
Maybe it has not deployed its full potential, because I can't recognize any trait of the crosses I planted in it. D'Oh!
