There should be more blooms this week since daytime temperatures will be in the mid 70's.

My very last bloom of the season. I normally don't have blooms this late in the year, but we got a lot of rain this summer. I think that was the difference.

The bloom was in the bright sunshine, so I plucked and placed on my azaleas to photograph with my phone. This was the second bloom for All or Nothing. The first was yesterday...I was out of town😠

I hope my Soli deo Gloria does as well. I got it earlier in the summer from a nice fb seller.

Beautiful reblooms everyone! So amazed at the amount of reblooms some are enjoying. The daylilies sure love your soil and climate, Ginny! I have only one remaining rebloom scape left. It's on a seedling. Will post when the bud opens.

Karen,

Thanks for pointing out the color-echo aspect of Genesta and Indian Giver. They would be nice together, but are in two different gardens.

Last fall I established a garden for very late bloomers, and Genesta is there. I wasn't expecting Indian to rebloom, so it didn't qualify for that garden. Rebloom is very rare here on my drought-prone hilltop. The abundant rain that has fallen this year is probably the cause of Indian Giver's reblooming. In the three seasons I have had it, this is the only time it has rebloomed.

My Indian Giver for the most part doesn't Rebloom. You would have to pair a different plant with it that blooms around the same mid season time. When Genesta start blooming, Indian Giver is just about done.

Mike, you should try freezing pollen for when seasons don't match up. I was skeptical until this year when it worked for me. Last spring it didn't take, but in a last ditch effort a month ago, the magic happened between Texas Feathered Fancy and Rose F Kennedy! It is fun and exciting Hurray! Thumbs up

Try it yourself!

Indian Giver does not rebloom for me either but it reblooms this year for me too. Must be the rain.

Mike, I agree that IG and Genesta won't pair up well if they don't bloom at the same time.
