I don't believe I've ever had a bloom this late in the season, but we got a lot of rain this summer. There is one more bud on the scape, but I don't think it will make it to bloom. Not sure which plant this is, but based on my notes it has to be....

Watermelon Martini or Four No Trump .

Thanks Mary,
It looks more like Four No Trump, but I thought Watermelon Martini was planted there. I'm just glad to have a bloom in October. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Genesta, Late Summer Fling and Barbara were all blooming in my garden as of two days ago. We had a heavy frost last night. So I don't know if the last few buds will make it, but regardless, blooming all the way into mid October is fantastic!!!

I was counting the number of blooms on some of the scapes and most had 8-9 per branch!! They have been great bud builders!

The last two October rebloomers here:

Indian Ripple
Thumb of 2018-10-20/shive1/ecb369

Sweeten Creek has plenty of buds left but it will probably be too cold for them to open. This bloom took two days to open.

Your reblooms are beautiful, Debra! Indian Ripple is especially nice with its orange edge on the sepals.

On September 13, I posted my empty basket, no more blooms.

Today I was out scratching around and guess what. After sleet and snow and multiple overnight lows below freezing, this;

Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!
Apparently their classification as rebloomers is no exaggeration.
Since they also bloom at an earlier more "normal" time, I can make crosses with fresh pollen next summer, at the peak of the growing season when they can support production of fat healthy seeds.
I suppose I could reward them for their heroics with a last dollop of fertilizer before the big freeze... Big Grin Come to think of it. that would be the only fertilizer, since I haven't fertilized anything this year.
