It is still nice to see them, but I have noticed that the later blooms on scapes that are cut and brought indoors tend to get pale.

I like the clothesline. Don't see those so much anymore. I'd probably have vines growing on it, though. I've tried detaching my head on one often enough over the years to be somewhat wary of them. Air dried washing really does smell nice. Nothing quite like it.
