It is still nice to see them, but I have noticed that the later blooms on scapes that are cut and brought indoors tend to get pale.

We have already experienced hard frost that killed all pepper and tomato plants, and, of course, the most delicate of all, the fragrant basil.

These two daylilies bloomed today to its best in temperatures in the mid 40's.
