I am sad today because
Well.... my big brother recently passed away and every now and again -- with no warning -- his loss swamps me. I believe I will see him again and I feel this should lighten the grief -- but it doesn't. I feel like my cheeks have salt tattoos etched that will never fade.
When I see him again...he is gonna get it. I don't need any more wrinkles or cracks. I am not complaining but just trying to understand the experience. My parents are gone. I have lost other siblings. This is very different.
Don't squat with yer spurs on!
People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
