Casey.
Your crop of poppies in bloom is just fantastic.
I sowed poppies with TBI's for the first time a few weeks ago.
Nice to see it was the right choice, yours are beauties.

The picture of the Gold Finches and the iris would be a sure winner on the Landscape Photos. Give it a try. I have lots of birds but as still anxiously waiting for the Finches and Siskins.

Jo Ann - If it's not too late, try adding seeds of larkspur too. I "edited" mine so only the dark violet bloom with the poppies. They pick up the dark splotches in the center of the poppies. The poppies and the larkspur have naturalized in my garden. The poppies have morphed into something new. They are now around 5 feet tall and bigger than my hand. You can see how big they are in that one pic.

I'll see if I can find pics of the poppies and larkspur together. They do look great with irises, as well as peonies and baptisia. Lovey dubby

Ah, I haven't visited the Landscape Photos forum. I'll need to go poke around. Thank you Paul! Hurray!

Joanna - You're welcome!

Cal - Thank you!!!

Thank You @William for the acorn and the thumbs up!

Thank You @TBGDN for the nice comment and the thumbs up! (I agree, Sean's avatar photo is gorgeous!)

And thanks to everyone else for the thumbs up!!!

Jo Ann - I am loving your poppies! Especially the first, seventh and eighth pics. Lovely! I did seed some new varieties this fall, so maybe there will be new colors popping up in the spring. Do you grow any others? I have some California and Shirley too, and have planted Iceland in the past. Orientals struggle for me but I hope to grow more in the future.

Thank you Leon, Mika, Debra and Leslie!!!

Debra, I love your pink poppy! It's beautiful!! And I'll see what I can do to make sure the red one has a home in Texas. My poppies originated from my grandmother's poppies that grew in the Hill Country in Texas. They'll feel right at home in your yard. Smiling
