OK -- I have a question about hybridizing: when the names of the two parents are listed for any given Iris, is it customary for parents to be listed in a given order? Pod-parent first, pollen-parent second? Or the reverse?

Love that seedling! Recless Abandon sure does take your breath away! I like the triple buds too, so it keeps going for a while.

Pod Parent X Pollen Parent is the way parentage is listed. I plan on using Reckless Abandon pollen on a couple of seedlings.

Sometimes I get stuck on just one thread I commented on and forget to check the rest of the Iris Forum to see what else is new, just catching up here.
I just asked Betty where the best place is to buy Reckless Abandon and Tuscan Summer from, I am smitten by those two! I love rich intense exotic colors. Your Gypsy Lord X French Riviera seedling is another beauty I like! I don't have anything like that yet. Thumbs up
