Really like the Heuchera Galexy. It looks like it must come from Midnight Rose.

I saw that Phlox 'Mystic Black' today. It's nowhere near the color of that photo. I took a real photo of it. They doctored that photo!!!

The did compare it to Midnight Rose like it from it but did not actually come out and say that. Maybe it's a secret. Blinking They did say that 'Galaxy' will love heat and humidity, but performs very well in cool climates too. Thumbs up
Sounds like our kinda plant Bob. Green Grin!

I'd love to see the photo of it, Clint. I've never seen one open. Supposedly they start out with dark buds, but the flowers are much lighter.

Way too many photos doctored now.

I took a photo of the buds. They are supposed to be very dark. They are darker than most Phlox, but not like that photo. I think they were nice plants though! I'll post my photo in a little bit.

It is sad how they color enhance all the pictures. When you get some they are so disappointing.

Here's the photo of that Phlox 'Mystic Black'. I really do like it, but I don't think it's as dark as they promise. I love the dark color on the leaves. I still want one. LOL.

Lowes had a whole bunch of different ones today. I may go back tomorrow and get one. I do think it's nice. It would look awesome with some Penstemon ' Dark Towers'!

I discovered a dwarf Penstemon digitalis this year. I've never seen one that is this small. It's barely a foot tall including the top of the blooms. All my other plants that came up from seeds are almost 3 feet tall. Have you ever seen one of this type of Penstemon that is that small? You can see part of one of the tall ones in the background. It's about 3 times as tall as this one is.

I know. It just cracks me up when the plant tag is in the pot and the plants are not as dark or the same color. It's so obvious what they did.

If that Penstemon is that size next year, I will be a happy camper! Hurray!
