Thanks everyone, I never expected to do as well yesterday as I did. Daylily shows are just a crap shoot, you never know what will be blooming on the day of the show, and more important you never know how the bloom will look until the morning of the show. There's a lot of luck involved and it was just my weekend, next year will be totally different. The thing that I was most happy about, I was able to put three new hybridizers flowers on the head table. These three people have produced some great show quality flowers in the last couple of years and it was because of them there flowers got AHS awards, all I had to do was enter them in the show. I would also like to say that both shows were a great success with a lot of interested public traffic and several potential new members for both clubs. It is because of dedicated club members like Michele that makes a show happen. There's a lot of long hours and hard work involved in putting on a show and members of both clubs did a superb job, some a little more than others. For me, I am glad its over with for another year, I have enjoyed as much of this as I can stand.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing @ Michele. SUPER great job both of you!! Thanks so much for documenting this and letting us see the show in the comfort of a chair! I have never been to a daylily show, I didn't know you could sell some to support the society. When I was in the iris society, you could NOT sell anything of yours and if you got caught even trying to sell you got into trouble. The sales were in the fall and it was just a sale, not a show of any kind. The iris society could take a cue from the daylily society.
