Barbara Smiling Thanks so much for the acorn!!!

Monty: Teagan blooms like crazy for me but all at once in at the beginning of April. I have never had it rebloom. But maybe someone else has.

Leslie: Well if it's any consolation, the color of your bloom in your photo is much richer Smiling

I love seeing the photos of the little ones. Lovey dubby They look better taken by the gardeners than they do in the catalogs.

I watched The Walking Dead...and initially it is good, but then it becomes repetitive. Shrug!

Leslie - I figure the climates are similar, even though there is a pretty sizable gap from Winterberry to here..but, I figure if they get a lot of good reblooms, at least, from their own irises, so should I. Shrug!

2/7 varieties which were all reblooming capable from Winterberry sent up stalks in the late 2018 run, in October, on. I don't know how the Spoons manage their rebloomers and irises in general, but I feel pretty happy that two at least attempted to bloom. Kwik Kash, even though not from Winterberry, looks like it may be sending up a stalk, so perhaps my area is good for rebloomers, or the "chicken fertilizer" is already doing wonders. Hilarious!
TB 'Starting Fresh' blooming for me in May of 2022. It bloomed for a week and a half with nine buds.

I'm having difficulty putting together my current iris order(s) due to lack of gardeners photos. I learned a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, to never trust the photos in the catalogs. I agree

Some catalogs are better than others. I think Mid-America tries very hard to be accurate.

Lucy, I ordered your 'Reddy Set' last year--got a whole insta-clump of a rhizome, with no leaves. Once I planted it, though, it recovered nicely and grew a bunch of leaves Smiling

Whoa, Lucy, I didn't know you had your own intros. That's cool!

I only have a few littles. Three SDBs. I had an MDB but Florence and Michael took 'er out.

Cat's Eye formed an insta-clump for me within weeks, but the other two have been slower, though sending increases. Anne Lowe, and Cara.

Hopefully, they'll all maiden bloom this season, but if they don't, I'm not surprised. Cat's Eye may, because of the large amount of increasing. It looks like nine fans!

If you cannot find an iris you are thinking of buying in the NGA database, you can also try http://wiki.irises.org/
Just click the type of iris you're looking for in the menu on the left and go from there.
Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice!

Monty ~ When I received Cat's Eye, it was a tiny rhizome. I really didn't know what to expect. It bloomed several times. It has grown even more after removing from the large pot, and planting it in the ground.

Sorry you lost Midnight. Remind me in July, and I'll send you some more.

Cat's Eye got here from you, and it went "poof" and turned into a large amoung of increases really quick.

I'll try and remind you, because I was looking forward to having an MDB. Rolling my eyes.
