Fortunately, it isn't June, or it might have been irreversible for the greenhouse plants. I recall a horror story about a vented greenhouse in California & it caused the loss of a huge collection. Your fears are not unreasonable Gina. All the more reason for some to have a back up generator.
I recall a long outage after 'Isabelle' & got a generator, just because of it. But, the gas station pumps needed power & the station clerk said "I'm turning off the pump now." & I replied, "I'm going to keep on filling this fuel container, until you do !"
