I'm pretty stocked up on EM and M, so this Spring, I've tried to concentrate on the EE and E groups and the MLa to La groups, with reblooming characteristics, when possible (Clearly, I too was distracted by pretty faces this Spring. D'Oh! Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious! ) I think I'm done buying for now (we'll see how that goes Whistling Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Green Grin! ) and I have some possible trades in the works. In the Fall, I plan to continue with adding EE and E's & MLa, La, and VLa's with rebloom and/or extended bloom characteristics. Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers!

The Lates are important to me, as I have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), and I'll tell you, last Fall was the most difficult struggle I've ever had with SAD.....watching my gardens go dormant, but I'm working on improving my mood in the Fall with late bloomers. Smiling Smiling

I too have SAD, going to Florida for the winter does wonders for it. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing But still around mid August my brain still tells me the end of sunshine is coming and I struggle to get things done in the fall. Lots of flowers might help so I am with you on getting more of the lates and very lates. In Rochester, NY from Oct-Nov to Mid Feb. you're lucky if you see the sun Angry Sad Sad not the place to be if you have this disorder. D'Oh! but the spring and summers are worth being here.

Looking to show some Daylily at county fair in OH on August 14th.
I have some cultivators that I use for OH State Fair the last of July.
2 weeks later is going to take some later bloom.
MidLate rebloom helps but not dependable.
Any recommendations and where to purchase.
Thanks

August 14th is such a tough date for zone 5/6. The ones that start in July may or may not be still blooming on Aug 14, especially if we get an early spring. And then the ones that go very late into September might not be started by 8/14, especially if you have a late spring.

I went into my notes to see if I had any that were pretty reliable in middle of August.

My best bests for you are

Yada Yada Yella (7/20 - 8/25)
Fred's Red (8/7 - 9/11)
Final Touch (7/15 - 8/27)
Jolly Uncle Jelly (7/25 - 8/22)
Mascara Snake (7/30 - 9/8)
Late Report (7/28 - 8/30)

You might try Crintonic Gardens in Gates Mills Ohio. Curt hybridizes a lot of mid -late, late bloomers. He would have bloom in mid August.
