The Sedirea japonica opened. No scent yet. One more bud to go.

Chiloschista segawae (I think) in bud. I should put this in Anticipation but it's more mini than anticipated. Hilarious!

I agree, an Orchid without leaves is definitely a mini..... Rolling on the floor laughing Good one!
The Sedirea is nice.

Well Kathy, you're a better orchid mom than me! My Sederia Japonica is going on it's second year, and no sign of blooms yet. Sad

Hmm, results can be very mixed. I have three plants of Sedirea japonica, one is in spike, two are not! No idea why they are not all in spike, but it is curious....

Oberonia toppingii is blooming, this plant fits into the palm of my hand.
I didn't get a better close up than the one I took last year.

but here is the little Orchid today with 3 spikes.

Zygostates apiculata is another tiny Orchid which fits into my palm, spikes and all.

I had bought the Maxillaria as juergensii, but I was told it might be minuta. Andy ( I got the plant from him) exhibited it last year at the SEPOS as noid Maxillaria. It is a nice, easy blooming mini!

Amesiella monticola had 2 buds, unfortunately only one made it. I think the mounted plant needed more flooding at the time of bud development. ( I water daily) I gently padded the roots with some loosely shredded Coconut fiber, I should have done it earlier.

And there is the faithful blooming-again Angraecum distichum
