I love Japanese Iris, too, but I was told they will not grow in my area. I guess that's like anything else, though. if you want it bad enough, sometimes you can find a way to have it, Might not be grand and others might not like it, but it'll be great to you. I don't know why I've never tried to grow them., Hmmmmm, guess I need to find a few to buy. Yours is beautiful Rita.

Everything seems to be growing so well for you this year. Lovely. My Juliet tomatoes are starting to ripen and so far I like the one I ate.

Wow, ripe tomatoes already??? I will have at least another month or so for mine to ripen.

I have only that one Japanese Iris and I really don't want any more. One is enough for me.

Betty, Green Rainbow has small blooms but they have such unusul color.

No ripe tomatoes here as yet. The JULIET TOMATOES have grreen tomatoes set but nothing with even a hint of blush on it so not going to be ready soon. But I do have one of the Fouth Of July tomato plants on which three tomatoes are starting to ripen. Those will be my first of the year.

We just got home from a camping trip, and I was welcomed with my first ripe tomato! It was a little yellow cherry, and it was delicious!

I have so many things crammed in here that I amaze myself. No ripe tomatoes here as yet. Still waiting!

Wow, glads blooming already??? I guess that means I am waaaay too late to plant mine.

Oh no. you can plant them now and they just bloom a little late. Usually mine don't bloom this sopon but it has been an early bloom season on everything. These are glads that overwintered here.

Oh ok, thanks Rita. I have some that come back every year. If you plant them deep enough our winters won't affect them in any way.
