As I hover waiting for the sedum morganianum to fully open, I find these other succulents also prepping up its 2012 blooms:

Anacampseros - though still crinkled from winter & from twice being repotted, once temps hits 90's and above, it went ahead with its blooms:

Graptoveria Fred Ives - it started the blooms early Spring, but I have repotted it to hanging baskets ...and it did not falter, continuing with its blooms:

It has bloomed rather early, coz of this sudden heat wave we have been having..usually it blooms here mid summer. Big Grin But it really has to hit 90's ++ for the blooms to pop!

Blinking At least it has gone cooler whew!! Three consecutive days of sizzling heat..a cool down is so much welcome Hurray!

Hi Jay, usually my cacti would close its blooms tightly and dries off till it is brittle and you can easily knock it off with a piece of stick or maybe a long nose plier. Or sometimes I leave it alone, and it will fall off on its own.

Some more of my Euphorbia milii is waking up this summer either with blooms or just leaves, at least something good to see on a very hot summery day Green Grin!
