Great job, Jim, I'm sure you earned your nap. Three hours with a reporter, Phew!

Lindsay your flower border is just gorgeous. Nice mix.

You all have created little pieces of heaven! Must be why we understand each other so well!
Jim, I need help getting my crinums to bloom!

I'm chillaxin' today finally. What a week! Garden tours last Sunday (everyone) and Thursday evening (Greenfield MA Garden Club), end of school job Friday (meetings, meetings), dog (Boojum) had to be put down last Monday (cried for 2 days straight), job interviews for possible change next year, fertilizing the orchids yesterday. I slept about 10 hours yesterday! The gardens here are also 2 weeks ahead. We will put on the Japanese iris show a week early this year or we will have nothing to show!! Hopefully I will get up my iris photos posted on my forum soon. But here is everything else. http://forum.crazyorchidlady.c...

We've been doing this for so long that I take Boojum's demise personally. It is a sad day for us all.

I just reviewed all of the pictures from your garden, Kathy. It looks beautiful. I'm sure all of your guests were impressed.

I received another phone call from the reporter to clarify a few things today. I can't wait to see what she finally comes up with.

Sorry to hear about Boojum Kathy, it's tough to lose our companions.

Your gardens are just incredible. They must take a lot of time and effort but the results are fabulous! I love seeing all of those flowers that we don't have here. Beautiful!

Thanks Jim and Jonna!!! I think I turned a corner when I found an artsy video I had made of Boojum in our usual routines. I was comforted that I had his essence in motion anytime I wanted to "visit" him in those profoundly important mundane moments (which are what life is made up of). I suddenly felt peaceful and could move on. Glad you all are enjoying my garden with me, too.

I have a few interesting things blooming. Passiflora 'Lady Margaret'
Thumb of 2012-06-20/dyzzypyxxy/111f69
Coleus 'Florida Sun Rose'
Thumb of 2012-06-20/dyzzypyxxy/cd7b3e
Colocasia 'Blue Hawaii' finaly with an ear at least the size of a baby elephant's.
Thumb of 2012-06-20/dyzzypyxxy/cecff6
My favorite, Hedychium 'Dr. Moy' usually has lightly variegated leaves like they have little paint splatters, but I found this really stripey sport amongst the regular stems.

Kathy, so sorry to hear of your loss, loosing a pet is indeed a tragedy.

Jim, Janice, Kathy, what a wonderful display. I am sure you folks have enough plants to set up a botanical garden. Just Beautiful.

Bletilla striata which resides in my cold room over winter, some have split the pot and are growing out through side. The blooms on the plants with the variegated leaves are a deeper pink although doesn't show in this picture. These pictures are a couple weeks old.

Cross posted Elaine, the red Passiflora is a beauty and you will have to clone the Hedychium, the variegation on those leave is very striking.
