Hot, but with a citrus tone. It's a Chinense pepper, not a capsicum. The plant itself got very tall, around 5 feet, and the harvest amount was excellent. The size of the fruit is on the small size, but so cute, I think!

So beautiful, Eric! And you have so many. I'd run myself ragged trying to keep all of them watered. Here's a few early ones of mine. I haven't really gotten going on my summer pots yet; too early.

I'm always amazed by your huge collection, hlutzow! And such a diverse collection. I really admire your jade plant in the upper left hand corner. That's what mine looked like until I tried to repot.... it fell apart. I did take cuttings, but it will be quite awhile until it looks like that again. My jade Gollum is coming along nicely. Putting it back outside has given it a nice red tinge on the end of the leaves.

@gardenfish Thank you! I admit that I am a bit of a plant hoarder. I'm in the process of culling the collection so it fits better. I'm hoping my own jade gollum gets that size eventually. I've nearly killed the poor things quite a few times by now.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

My Gollum is getting that nice bonsai look now. It was a really tiny plant when I bought it.It took me years to learn how to grow succs well because I'm a over waterer. I'll bet I didn't water my succs more than once every 8 weeks this winter. They would be so dry the leaves actually kind of began to shrivel, but I think that's why they came through the winter with so little light. We had so many grey, gloomy days. Lights for them next year, the mother of thousands was terribly etoliated before I could get it back out in the sun.

Completely gorgeous!! Is that a Salvia that has the really blue blue flowers?
In the last pic, is that an appropriated watering can, or designed as a pot originally?

@purpleinopp The plant with the blue flowers is: Corydalis (Corydalis curviflora var. rosthornii 'Blue Heron') This is the first year I've had it so we'll see how it holds up and hopefully it will come back next year. As for the watering can, it is a real can but it has hole in the bottom for drainage from being used previously as a planter. I like it for the splash of color it brings to our very green back yard. Our best blooms happen in June so I'm always looking to bring any color besides green into the yard

Heuchera (coral bells) in containers on the front porch. They will be followed by other perennial flowers but they are always the first to pop.
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.

Thanks. Tall sedums, calendula and possibly some surprises if the winter sowing worked out. I got a great horseracing deal on the pots. No one wanted them and even at half off, no takers. I was told everyone hated the color. In the back I have the 99 flavors connection of containers. Filming those in the picture took A LOT of soil!

I'll bet it took a lot of soil! I remember well filling my raised tomato bed. I told my son that first year that they were the most expensive tomatoes I had ever grown! I love the color of the pots; they are just the right neutral color that doesn't take the eye away from the plants.

My newest container was a pocket planter I got from Amazon for $20 that I filled with bromeliads and orchids. I bet it would also make a great herb garden. You can hang it like a picture or wrap it around something like I did.
