Yes, and so many bees too! I am thrilled with it. I had one before but it didn't survive and never bloomed. Thanks for adding to the database!

A couple of mine don't seem to be doing so well. Actually the foliage seems fine, some of the blooms are distorted. I cut flowers heavily from them so I don't know it that could be a problem? Most are happy this year though.

Most likely mites . they cause a lot of distorted blooms in Echinacea.
Leilani is a new one for me will have to see how it does. In general Echinacea do not do well when planted in the Fall , they take a long time to establish compared to other plants. I t might go better down by you but up here not a good idea.

Actually, I just remembered! I'm pretty sue the eaten ones are Japanese Beetles. I caught on crunching on one the other day. But it could be mites in addition.

I have found most perennials do better planted in the fall down here. When I first moved I lost a lot of plants because I planted them in the spring so now I plant them in the fall. I think I will try spring again, but earlier. That may have been prt of the problem.

Most plants do better here planted in the fall but not the echinaceas. I seem to loose half of what I plant every year! What is your secret Arlene? I'm all ears! I was so baffled when Green Jewel did not come back. Confused ..or was or was it Green Envy? Rolling on the floor laughing
Tomato Soup is wonderful, I have been wanting that one for a while now but had heard some negative things when it first came out like it takes a long time to establish, but at this point I don't care, I want it anyway!
I just got Aloha from Romance Gardens and they have big plants, gallon size, and the shipping was 10.00 for the two. I got Flame Thrower also. I posted a few pics under 'recommendations'. 'Romence Gardens & Greenhouses'.

Yikes! Glad it survived though. A lot of my stuff is getting eaten up as well. Lots and lots of Japanese Beetles and leaf footed bugs. Ugh!
