Another first ever poly for Helix, on a different specimen than before I think it's a poly. I didn't notice until I was cropping the photo. Too lazy to go out and count. (This heat is miserable with a still broken A/C )
I've had Helix since 2014, and it's been divided and divided....My most favorite DL of all
Larry,
Yes, that is the very first bloom on Coral Crab. I was thinking (hoping) it will improve. I'll have to wait until next year though. It didn't have but 2 blooms. Actually I think I removed all but 2 buds because it has pretty small fans.
Edit: Actually it is the second bloom. I think I missed the first. Probably had my head in the weeds in other parts of the gardens.
We went to our old house that we are trying to sell. I ordered daylilies in 2008, for 2009 planting from Oak Hill Daylilies (or maybe it was Oakes, but on further reflexion, I'm pretty sure it was Oak Hill). I lost my list when the computer I had it on crashed.
