Good for you all in Tucson, Linda! Share the wealth! We have clouds but no rain in my part of Phoenix. Phoenix is very strange. Rain in some parts, wind in others, nothing in some.

That sounds a lot like Tucson, Susie. Usually we are the ones that are in the low rain totals. Maybe this weekends rains will hit you ! Thumbs up

Thats great news about the rain Susie ! Hurray!

We received .20 at our house yesterday and this afternoon we have received just under .40. Both were nice gentle straight down soaking rains. Big Grin The thunder is still rumbling to the west of us. So far for this month I have had 2.85 inches in this normally drier part of town. The airport has reported over 4 inches this month and they are usually on the dry side as well so we are doing better this Monsoon then last year, it seems. Thumbs up

The rumblling thunder off to the west of us did indeed bring us more rain and we ended Sunday with 1.15 inches. Hurray! I can't wait to see how the plants are looking when the sun comes up ! Big Grin

We had rain last night but not as much as we did on Saturday. I haven't seen lightening or heard thunder with these latest rains.

I would love rain every day for a few hours.

I took my car for a short spin while it was raining hard: free car wash!

My daughter lives in Anthem and they had no power on the east side of Anthem at all for several hours. Her backyard flooded up to the door again. HUGE STORM THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a huge downpour out in Anthem. Lots of homeowners belongings were swept from their homes. Cars and people stranded... no flood insurance. Makes me sure think twice about that! I used to have flood insurance but dropped it about 2 years ago.

Glad your daughter is safe, Becky! Some were in a little more trouble I heard on the news.

Allie said they watched roof tiles fly off the neighbors roofs, walls loose stucco and trees uproot! The mess was HUGE. She was fortunate to lose only a small amount of stucco and one tree bent over but they are hoping it survives with the re-staking.
