The picture makes me a little nostalgic too. We have a sky blue woodland phlox here similar to this one. They literally carpet the floor of the woods in early spring. Thanks Dirt for sharing this. Here is the one I am referring to: Wild Blue Phlox (Phlox divaricata)

I'd really like to find some of that phlox someday, such a lovely blue. Many of my trees are growing up now, so I have a few more partly shady areas than I used to. Good thing in this area

Dirt, if I run across a source I will make sure you know. I was trying to remember years ago if Bluestone Perennials carried this. And now I'm not sure. I'll make a mental note to keep an eye open.
