I love Dahlias and Zinnias. Can't grow dahlias for beans but I also grow some zinnias. They add so much color to the garden.

Veronica, your garden looks lovely. I bet you really enjoy sitting on the deck and looking out.

This is the first year for the BEEFMASTER for me. Definatly will be back next year. Nice tomatoes that taste yummy! I have tried various beefsteak types year after year and have not really been that pleased with any until this year. These are fabulous!

I plant at least some zinnias each year. Just great for summer color.

Beautiful pictures guys! Makes me want to actually get outside in the garden again! I tend to get in the August doldrums here, too hot to enjoy doing anything out there so I just get by with a little watering and picking. Looking forward to fall!

Great looking Gardens Jo ann,you got more rain...Great...We are still 6inches down....The people Love my flower display,so doo the Dr`s Hurray! They are amazed that I just fling seed...

Veronica ,Yes the Salvia wintered over and I got New ones from seed... Hurray! I did trans plant a few into the surrounding beds,Zinnias I just Flung seed around...Cant beat all those TUFF Flowers for a hot dry summer....Petunias,bacopa came back from seed...pansies,violas in the spring were out of this world....I had 1000`s of them blooming...starting to see seedlings again Hurray! Oh Licorice Plant ? wintered over too,wonderfully...trailing Verbeena wintered over ..I planted a few more this summer...$1.25 per so I planted 10 more...LOL..

I started planting zinnias a few years ago...Boy was I missing out....They are the best bloomers...But it is best to plant them Heavy so they hold each other up,they are amazingly tuff...And BEAUTIFUL...Im always just in AWWW of their beauty...Wishing I had planted 100`s more along my garage... Confused

I think because of the brick building they all have a better chance of wintering over, and we pile snow on the beds from shoveling the sidewalk...

Beautiful pictures, everyone!

Those are some amazing displays...especially after the worst of the drought!

Jo Ann, that walkway is so lovely and peaceful. Thumbs up

I love those big flat pieces of stone. Since seeing your walkway evolve, I've tried to do some of the same here. It's reduced the muddy mess and the tracking in of mulch in such a nice way! I have an area that I'd like to fill in around the stones with Irish moss...I've always wanted to try some of that. Smiling
