A Time-Saving Tip

Keep a pair of gardening gloves and pruners near the back door of your house, so you can easily grab them when you are "only stepping outside for a minute." You KNOW you can't go out into the garden for even a minute without seeing something that needs to be weeded or pruned!

This is a great tip! I'm forever heading out the door and within 5 minutes I have to turn around and go back to the garage to find my gloves and pruners. There's always something that needs pinching or pruning! I moved about 8 months ago and at the old house I always had a basket with tools, gloves, plant ties etc. sitting on the deck for those chores ... don't know why I haven't thought of it since moving ... Thanks so much for the reminder!

My hand pruners and garden scissors are kept rolled in a oiled cloth in a basket hanging outside my back door. Gloves are strategically (? Rolling on the floor laughing ) placed in many convenient places. Big Grin Occasionally, they'll even make it back into the basket as well. Big Grin

Great tip, Angie! Thumbs up

I'm forever stepping out to let the dog out, and then half an hour later, lifting my head out of my flowers, looking around and thinking, "Hmmm, I wonder where the dog went?"
