Photos from this morning in the garden:
'Dixie Land Band': Love how the midrib looked much whiter today than yesterday.
'Passion for Red': Had two very bright blooms this morning.
'Rose Emily': This is a short plant, but it is a great little performer, I have it in about three places now it multiplies so well.
'Orange Velvet': I might have posted this so often people are tired of seeing it, but from the looks of it, it has a few more good days left with all those buds remaining. The great thing about it is that it has bloomed one to three flowers at a time and has not just had a few days of blooms. I love it when a plant spaces out the blooms like that, especially if it is on a plant with only a few buds to start with. Of course there is nothing that puts on a bigger show that a plant with tons of buds that opens up on a single day.
'Yellow-Green NOID': Wanted to post this photo to show my complaint with this plant. The one scape up high with the bloom is so pretty, but look down lower and you will notice a bloom deep down in the foliage, and another scape that looks like it is also going to be very short. If all the scapes on this plant were as tall at the best one, this would make it onto my favorites list in my garden.
