She got the seeds in 2015, so yes she could have quite a few fans to sell by now.
Interesting looking flower, but you couldn't have an entire garden full of them. It has to be an accent plant. Still, I would like to have a fan!

Well, Reedy1 has now sold nine BLAME IT ON THE RAIN SF's, with the least expensive just closing during night (around 3:30 a.m. PT) or early this morning, depending on where you live. It sold for $425, and now I'm getting curious as to just how many SF's she has left to sell... Yenok_daylilies has won two of them already and seems to keep bidding... Interesting!

Yes, I originally thought she might have as many as 25, or even more, depending on how quickly it increases, and how frequently she has been dividing it.
It would have been a seedling in 2016....

Honestly it's a smart move. Why sell a 1 in a million intro if all you have is 10 or 15 fans in your garden before you know it others will be selling it for half price so wait until you have enough stock and flood the market with 20 SF plants the year of introduction and keep 10 or 15 to line out for next year.

Also, she has had enough time to cross this plant with others to produce.... perhaps another interesting intro for next year.

I had several evergreen single fans that are really struggling or just gone after our hard winter. I'm learning the hard way

Hang in there, Ginny. I buy evergreens despite the odds sometimes. Every once in a while they'll surprise you. You never know unless you try.

Tim I do the same thing. One of my top three early bloomers is a evergreen. For all the heavy hitters out there, you have less than right hours to get this one
