I don't know the seller, but the bloom was interesting. I imagine we will start seeing more and more of them soon. WACKY WEDNESDAY is the prettiest one I grow,, but there are many special ones, EXPLOSION IN A PAINT FACTORY, INDEFINABLE (and KID), and PAINTBALL PARTY are at the top that I have seen here.

$1,600 is out of my range, but truth be told, a person could make that money back in a few years just from selling seeds. It may not even be a purchase looking for a monetary return, just a collector of unique and rare things.

There have only been 9 plants sold for more than $1000 since 2013 on the LA.
Clown Pants is in the list — (Steve), and in my opinion is worth it.

This last one at $1600 was the highest ever. Somewhat surprising to see another fan immediately listed.
This may point out a need for policies around exclusivity/number of items to be sold, etc.

With only a short time for the bidding it should be interesting.

Anyone ever buy from Emtmike on the LA? He's got this listed "Rose F. Kennedy x Michaels Sword / 36 sds Item #1567881032", and "Home Run King x Michaels Sword / 17 sds Item #1567881183".

Everything I've read says that Michael's Sword is pollen sterile. Does he know something we don't? Since the daylilyparadise episode, I've been erring on the side of caution.

I have a few crosses with Undefinable as the pollen parent. I'd be thrilled to pieces to get a seedling looking even close to that flower!

There's another broken color cv listed on the LA that I haven't seen mentioned yet Laurelwoods Wave Canyon. Years ago Phil Reilly had a sdlg that sold for a ridiculous amount on the LA and was later named Trump Card. Does anyone else remember what it went for? The LA records seem to only go back as far as 2013.

In Emtmike's listing the first line reads " All crosses are Pollen Parent X Pod Parent". I always thought it strange that he listed MS as what would normally be the pollen parent. Michael's Sword is pollen sterile as are a majority of the kids.

I can't help but wonder why he lists them that way!
