Hi Everyone
I have a number of roses which I have purchased either online or from my local nursery but I recently aquired 3 roses from my late uncles garden which I would like to identify I would appreciate any help or advise I have searched google pics so I think the 1st one could be "Madame Butterfly" the 2nd maybe "Nostalgia" and the 3rd I have no idea maybe someone who has these roses would know exactly what they are ?
Thanks in advance
Tafy Thinking

I can only guess at what they aren't. I doubt that the first is Madame Butterfly. It has the scalloped petals that are characteristic of the rose when it's fully open, but it lacks the dark copper center at the base of the stamens.

Rose (Rosa 'Madame Butterfly')

I also doubt that the second one is Nostalgia. The color and shape of the bloom are wrong. Nostalgia's color is closer to red than pink, and the white center is prominent in every stage of the bloom's existence. The Nostalgia bloom starts out with a globular shape and proceeds to become a cupped bloom. The recurved petals in your photo are not characteristic of Nostalgia.

Rose (Rosa 'Nostalgie')

I'm really going to be of no help whatsoever in identifying your third bloom. It's one of my favorite color blends, so I have at least 30 or 40 roses resembling it.

Zuzu, just for the fun of it, with pic#3 I propose a first bet: Just Joey. Its an old rose and if it comes from a late uncle garden then it has been around for quite a long time and is/was a very popular rose...
It's one of my favorite color blends, so I have at least 30 or 40 roses resembling it.
Rolling my eyes. Drooling I wish I could reach the same number. I'm absolutely partial to that color blend

Fun, indeed, Arturo. I could agree with Just Joey.

Looking at the plant stats from zuzu's "Just Joey"' link

= Growth Habit: Tall, 5-6 feet, upright
= Rose bloom color : Apricot and apricot blend

I have it planted in a plant pot and rose height measures about 16 inches it's also fully grown
and obviously there's a big color difference mine is pink ?
I have upped another few pics I have just taken these 2 mins ago.
cheers
Tafy

edit
isn't it strange how the color difference the pic in my 1st post was around June/July
you wouldn't believe it was the same rose would you ? but I assure you it really is.

Oh my! the question of colours and pictures!... Shrug!
Now Tafy, you've widened options with the infinite pink blends Confused ...perhaps I should surrender by now... Sad what about fragrance? Any indication? Your bush looks still like a very young plant ( did you get it as a cutting from your uncle's place? can you provide dates of when it could've been planted initially?. At least it reduces the more recent introductions.

Hi there hampartsum Smiling
Yes I can confirm it is slightly scented..... in regards to age my uncle purchased many roses over the years
he passed away 13 months ago sadly he wasn't able to go into his garden for at least 10yrs before that due to having a stroke.
So I would say this rose including the other 2 roses above would be 20yrs+ in age
they really were in a sad looking state choked by weeds and covered in blackspot until I rescued them.
cheers

it also achieved a RHS award of garden merit.

I do not think #3 is Just Joey. To me the color is way too pink and the form is off. JJ is more peachy and ruffled.
