I am in the DFW area in Denton and I need some help with my roses...I don't have the money to hire someone but I have roses I can trade and I can propagate anything I don't have...and I will pay for the gas it takes to get here.
I am unable to do all that needs to be done. I fall when I over extend myself. The last time was a few months ago, no one was around to help me get up so I was on the ground for hours until a friend happened to come by and check on me. It was a very scary thing...I wasn't hurt but...

It was very scary, Zuzu...it was cool and not cold, thank God...and it was windy...I was out in the open which I didn't was a good place, so I scooted, so I was in the back yard where there is a fence to block the wind. Karen was supposed to come over but she was real late and when I didn't answer the front door, she was going to leave..something made her come look for me. I was able to get up on one knee, but not the other. She helped me up and inside and made me some hot tea. I was cold because the ground was wet from rain, the day before...

So creepy, Melva. You're going to have to get one of those panic buttons to call for emergency assistance or at least carry a cell phone outside with you.

Did you post this request in any Texas cubit or DG forum?

And mainly, did you go to the doctor to see what the problem is and how you can avoid having it happen again?

This certainly needs to be looked into. Too late now, but if it happens again, go to the emergency room. Don't they have to take anyone regardless of their insurance situation? And what about Medicaid? Surely there is somewhere, somehow you can get medical help. Please keep us informed. We care.

Yes any hospital emergency room has to treat you even if you aren't insured.
Talk to you doctor's staff.
Tell them you don't have insurance, to make
your appointment as short as possible and can you make payment
arrangement.
We have insurance but since my husband is retired its changed to
we have to pay out of pocket for regular office visits.
So far we've had 3 different doctors plus our dentist allow us to make
payments. If your doc won't allow this, find one who does.
If you are low income there should also be medical & dental clinics
in your area where the fees are very low.
Most run on a first come first served basis.
Sometimes have to wait a long time but its affordable.
Please look into a "I've fallen and I can't get back up" service.
I don't know how cold it gets by you but exposure and hypothermia could do
you in. I'm glad you had an angel come rescue you!
