for us the weather has become colder and there is for me only a few flowers. The stella has many buds. Some wanted their flowers do not open properly (to cold).

So Lovely continues to amaze us with its prolific bloom season. It began blooming June 23 and is now putting up more scapes. It may be an oldie but it is definitely a goodie.

I was searching for a single photo of So Lovely, can't seem to locate one, so I will use this one of the So Lovely row. This is the section that is putting up rebloom scapes now.

I love it and have had it in my garden for a long time.

Looks like I'm not the only one checking out the teeth on Sweet Valdosta Memories. The yellow jacket in the last image seems to be getting an up-close view!

Riveting News--at least I think so. This morning my husband found a new bloom scape on Voila Francois. " Frankie" has been very slow to develop for us, only two fans in three years and we usually get two bloom scapes each year. After it bloomed this year, I had my husband move it to a different area, hoping for improved growth. Well, maybe this move has paid off, although I think it is pretty late in the year for anything to really happen--we shall see. Here is a picture of Voila Francois taken this year.

I missed a bloom yesterday, I had not even noticed a scape much less buds. But today I saw it, probably the last daylily bloom in my garden this year. Flore Pleno I think.

Very pretty bloom, Seedfork. I have a love/hate relationship with Flore Pleno and Kwanso. I love the blooms, but hate how invasive they can be
