Dear Nancy, i would need to get Sarah a jet to commute! It is a 5:30 he drive then work and then a 5:30 hr drive back. Thanks for the thoughr Nancy, but I do not think that would be a good idea even if she lived around the corner.

yes, many of us don't have city distance. We have trains to Boston, but the station in 4 miles away.

Walked 30 minutes yesterday and paid for it last night. Will have to stick to my 20 min. time.

It's was just so beautiful yesterday, sunny, 75, that I just kept going and enjoyed every minute. Last night brought out the ol' trusty heating pad for the back.

Can't wait for the orchid to bloom. The Dend. should be in full flower in a couple of days, however, the other (?) orchids look like another month. We shall see.

High wind has been annoying through the night & this morning. Temp has dropped from 60°F into the 40s. I can't remember temp that high in Jan.

There was a lot of wind here yesterday too. Now who knows what's going on, but the temp this am is 52F. Yup, that's right, 52F. Don't know where this came from, but I wish it would go away. It will be nice in the garden today, for the sky is clear. Maybe all the orchids will set blooms now for they have been slacking with all the warm weather that has been. Bet DH will want the heat on when he gets up.
