In my opinion that's just the same as an expert saying a drug addict using drugs reduces their stress level. If it's a harmful practice to them or someone else, then reducing your stress level by doing that harm isn't a good way to work it out, there are always better ways. The psychology is right, the justification isn't.
I have absolutely zero personal worries even if it comes to every business in the country shutting down for 3+ months, including grocery stores. But again, I highly doubt it comes anywhere near that. People here lose it when Starbucks is closed for a day, it's crazy how helpless some people feel when a single modern luxury gets taken away. I remember one day several years ago there was a bad storm in the twin cities, power was out for like a day or two and people lined up for blocks to go to McDonald's for every meal. Like really? Power is out and you can't make a meal at home, do cereal boxes require electricity now? Humans can become pretty short sighted and just plain dumb when they're panicking or uncomfortable. Hopefully doesn't come to people looting/etc any time soon.
