As a comment about Spanish Bayonet (Yucca aloifolia), ILPARW wrote:

This species is native to the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico coasts from North Carolina down into the Yucatan and also found in Bermuda. Its leaves are bright green and sort of stiff with tiny serrations along the leaves, and the leaves get to about 2 feet long and the tips are sharp. It grows about 5 to 15 feet high.

Chances are youve been looking at gloriosa. Yucca aloifolia is not hardy to zone 5, 6 and 7. Minimum hardiness is zone 8 at best.
Also, factor in that for xeric plants wet= -1 one hardiness zone. Even if its borderline 7b if its wet and cold it might as well be 6a.
