I remember previously we had a short conversation about 'Touched in white' and 'Sandy's silver crest' (did I get the name right?)
I thought about it more and have a few questions on sandy's silver crest:
> I've read about plants being variegated and such (I read botany textbooks
) and about albino plants, and I've read about plants turning from albino to usual and from usual to variegated every once in a while, but I've never heard about a plant switching back and forth so much like the pictures of sandy's silver crest. Not sure what the white and green coloring is called.
> What makes sandy's silver crest sandy's silver crest? Is it just rupestrum variegated, or is it something else? Exactly how did this cultivar get made?
> Does the amount of light, soil quality, temperature, or living conditions affect it's white coloring? For example, will high light make the plant grow green leaves and low light make it grow white leaves?
i am a bit confused
