Um, didn't you say you just had a can of beer? And now look, you've even given that up for irises. Rolling on the floor laughing

Can I add I'm trying to keep up with Betja to the list?

That's a good one Polly, but probably impossible!

Remember when I told you about the new 40 foot bed I made? Well, I measured it last night, it's 64 feet long! Boy, I need to go back to school! Blinking The one next to it that I extended by 15 feet is the same length. I planted the "extention" full, and have 20 in the new bed. Just one order to come from Mid-America, but most of those will go into the re-done bed near the house.

Talk about eyes bigger than your stomach. Your spaces for irises are too big. I forget do you hybridize. Need more space for that.

Of course Lucy, I'm a hybridizer! Haven't you heard of my very famous iris "Birtha D Blues", and "Himalayen Flat" Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I'm just a wannabe, trying to learn how to get seed pods, and then to get the darn seeds to grow. And no Miller Liite with my steak and salad tonight either! Just good old green tea.

Well, most of that bed is going to be covered with tarp and kept for next year. Unless I win the lottery, and can afford to hurry up and buy out Mid-America or some other company, lol. Then I could hire lots of gardeners and all I'd have to do is walk around and smell the flowers. Yah, fat chance, lol

Thank you! HAve been busy getting the few tomatoes I have ready for the canner. Will can them tomorrow. Darn job gets in the way of most of my fun.

HAve 3 nice size beds to plant up this fall. HAve some iris to move. A couple I think to be delivered yet. Other plants to divide and move. Would be a good week this week as we are to be in the 70's all week. Thumbs up But that darn job is in the way again! Sad

I'm not near as funny as you guys but I sure will enjoy laughing along with you all!

I don't keep track of names but am trying to change that.
