Thread OP

This is NOT Digitaria ischaemum, but panicum capillare or panicum elegans (which may be the same?) Please look at other sources for photo comparisons.

I haven't been here (this site) for two or three years and this was in my thread notifier when I logged in. I certainly didn't intend to post photos under the wrong name. Thinking back to then, I did think I posted it to panicum elegans because that is the name I show. Has there been a taxonomy name change? If it is wrong, I think it's best to notify the person in charge of the database.
. . . it's always better to ask questions, than jump to conclusions.
AND . . . always hear both sides of the story before making a judgment.

According to the Catalogue of Life, updated in 2017, Panicum elegans is a synonym of Digitaria ischaemum so your photo is in the right place. Thumbs up
