Pirl,

Your pic is beautiful, but it is a salvia splendens, not a salvia coccinea.

https://garden.org/plants/sear...

Click the link that shows all the salvia splendens varieties. If you don't remember which salvia splendens variety it is, you can have it moved to the general salvia splendens database. Scarlet Sage (Salvia splendens)

The general salvia splendens database would be fine with me but I don't know how to move it.

Arlene,

I see you've already moved one of them and here's the great instructions that Lin (plantladylin) made for you on the other pic.

Marilyn

"Go here, to this database entry where your photo is currently located: Hummingbird Sage (Salvia coccinea 'Coral Nymph')

Find your photo and click on it, to enlarge the photo.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and select: Move this image to another plant.

Where it says "Which plant does this photo belong to", type in: Salvia splendens

Scroll down the page to the species Salvia splendens and select: Submit the proposal

Once a database administrator has moved it to the correct database entry, you will receive a system message telling you it's been done."
