I haven't noticed any scapes developing yet on the plants already in my garden, but a few of my newbies from Floyd Cove that I got on March 5th are scaping.

SEVEN OF NINE - 2 scapes about a foot tall
BIG BLUE LAKE - 2 scapes a little taller
COOL CRYSTALS - 2 scapes about 6" tall
A WHOLE LOTTA RIPPLES - Arrived with 2 scapes cut off, but one of them seems to still be doing OK. Looks like just some foliage at the tip was snipped off -- hope hope!

And unfortunately two arrived with 2 scapes each that were cut back too far, so I may not see any blooms for a while on those:

SHOCK AND AWE
GET SPIKED

The two I wanted the most, or course... Oh well, I'm still excited to see some scapes developing. Thumbs up

It's thrilling to see those blooms already, especially that brilliant BUDDY'S BETSY!

Well, the first bloom in my daylily garden happened today--Can't Touch This. The pic isn't great because we watered early this morning. We haven't had rain since the last week in February.

I wish mine had a scape even. We are a sandbox. No fun along with all the pollen.

I think the term is ghosting Larry, ghosting... Whistling

As early as it seems, I only have a couple with scapes now. The seedling posted earlier and found a couple on Apple Blossom White yesterday.

I got a few scapes that I can't take credit for because they are on Floyd Cove plants which arrived a couple of weeks ago. I think the first to scape is Red Edition, Dueling Colors, and Coit Tower.
