Hello all, I wanted to show what's been taking some of my time. I know it's not as nice as some here but it's mine. Enjoy, also if you see some thing you must have. c-mail me, maybe I can spare a piece.

Thanks Hetty, I checked and I don't think so. A. bovicornuta looks too nice and grows larger. As mentioned above, it is old and what you see is all that I ever got. I have to admit, I love the agave you gave me the most so far.

Should i get an agave schidigera while i still can?
Thing is ..its not that i dont like it...its pretty much victoriae-reginae with hairs...
Id be less hesitant if this wasnt the case...
Some of you may have not remember, bug i did have the queen vic agave do great before i donated it...

I would disagree with you that schidigera is vicky with hairs, completely different growth habit.

Nice plants Stush!

Leaves are thinner and a bit longer but thats it..
You dont really get to see a noticeable difference till the plant is in old age....

which i will likely not see......
I mean ... they ARE saplings you know..

Leaves are rounder, keeled, and inflexible on the Queen Vic agave, which is essentially a sculptural form, as opposed to pointy, flat, and flexible with schidigera. The bud imprints are longer lasting with the Queen Vic. The terminal spine is set off from the rest of the leaf on the Queen Vic. There are probably lots of other differences that I have not listed here. To my eyes they are very different plants despite the obvious similarities of color and bud imprints.

You agaves are looking good, Stush! Thumbs up

I have the variegated schidigera which became hard to get lately due to they don't pup. I think they are as different as can be.

Now from a distance they do look a little like Agave lopantha quadricolor which is a nice one to own.
