Forgive me for just dropping in with absolutely nothing to say except I just must get away from all the doom and gloom here in NJ. If I could go out and be among others, but I am under house arrest and my kids and caregiver are the only three people I can interact with and even then they keep their distance. This has been getting worse for weeks now and the hard part is I can't even get my hair done. She had to close down. Now they are talking about quarantining the entire state. This is endless.

Yesterday I lost it and between the vertigo and a severe Panic attack first thing in the morning I was not a very happy person all day. It was a beautiful day and the neighbor girls rode up on their horses to say hi, my church lady and her husband came to cut daffodils in the field and I was able to talk to them at a distance. Then they began planting the 325 baby Christmas trees and I spent the day sitting on the deck and getting some sunshine. I had trouble sleeping and today I am tired and trying not to nap or I may not sleep tonight. The vertigo is exhausting because I do not mind the dizziness because I am full of Meclezine or Dramamine but I am off balance and I need to be careful not to fall. But, then I think of all those who have become ill from this dreadful virus and I am ashamed of myself. If I did not have my religion to turn to when I get crazy i would really be in deep trouble. Never thought I would say that. Took me 91 years to figure it out. Sad state of affairs.

To all of you who are feeling down and out, or sorry for yourself, just think of those who are worse off than we are. Then you have what we have here in NJ makes you wonder about people. We have a town where the Hasidic people have their own section and they are just ignoring all the rules. They have had 67 deaths in their area alone and they refuse to stay within their compound (for a lack of a better word) and they have been going to other surrounding towns just for spite and people are getting so upset with it I am sure someone will be killed if they keep it up. There was a group trying to get together to ride into their town and start to clean it up, but fortunately that fell through before anyone got hurt. Sounds like the wild west but it is only life in NJ. I am sure the other NJ people here in the group have felt the same way I do at times.

Please take care of yourselves and listen to the rules. Another few weeks and it will be gone hopefully. We can only pray. Thank you for listening because I have no one else to complain to.
Stay safe and well. God Bless You All. JB Sighing!

That was hardly a complaint at all! Just looking at the news and seeing what NJ and NYers are having to deal with I don't know if I would be a gracious as you! I know you are used to being much more active with out physical constraints. But I am happy you have your caregivers and family that visit. I am sorry to say we have a long way to go with this. I hope you can find something to occupy your time while going through this. And that you are otherwise staying healthy. My 95 y/o MIL told us she actually hopes she gets CV! She is blind and so bored. I know that was just crazy talk. But we all feel her pain.

I am happy we get to go outside. It's raining today but should stop by tomorrow. But last week it rained for 3 days. I was going crazy indoors. There is plenty of chores to do inside. But I don't want to do them!

We have Boaters on our lake who tend to congregate and beach themselves, purposely, to party on the sandbar. The Marine Patrol has issued a warning telling Boaters that it is against orders to gather on the sandbar. Parents let their kids pay on the playground equipment treating this like an extension of Spring Break. People are in stores still hoarding toilet paper...then reselling it! I wish people would just get a grip.

Be well, Jacquie. Group hug

JB,
I also, had an issue with vertigo. I know that there are many different reasons that we have this issue. Mine in particular was an immediate/overnight total deafness in my right ear. I gradually started experiencing vertigo.
My ARNP gave me instructions for treatment.
He in fact, did the procedure while I was in the office, and I've done the procedure, with the assistance of my husband once since then.
I haven't suffered an episode since. As I said, I do realize there are different reasons for this issue, but maybe this could help you!?!🙏🏼

JB I have to agree living in NJ pretty tough right now. Do not know how I would handle
quarantining the entire state. But going to work and wondering if today is the day I get it and can I even get help if I do . And then you see too many that do not seem to believe about or just do not care . They caught someone having a party with 47 in a 550 square foot apt. and talking about closing parks because of way to many people hanging out together.

Another day. I had a difficult night. My stress caught up with me and for a few hours I thought I may just being going to buy the farm. Thought I was having a heart attack so I called my kids (we all live in the same house but two different private areas) and did not want to frighten them but told them to come over I was having a problem. Both are EMT instructors, so you can imagine, I am in good hands. They are also both NJ State essential employees so they are so careful about having contact with me, and our house is cleaner than most hospitals at this time.
After I assured them I would be ok alone and they had done all the tests they could to be sure it was not a heart attack, they agreed to go back to their place but leave the door joining our places open. (stupid idea since they can not hear me anyhow since there is an office between my place and their living place. Anyhow, my discomfort lasted until about midnight and I survived.

Today is ok but I am watching what I eat and drink because my problem was gastrointestinal and the pain was nasty, so I promised I would do my best to eat wisely today.

@NJBob, I can understand how you feel about working.because the kids not only are full of disinfectant wipers but they take their temperature twice a day, and before they come to my side, they have changed cloths, etc. What a hell of a way to live isn't it?
This is so scary that everyone is stressed out. If they quarantine the state I wonder how the people who live in NYC will manage. There a alot of people in our area who work in the City, either Phila. or NYC. I guess we just wait and see. Take care of yourself and your family. All we need to do is go with the flow and pray a lot.

Until tomorrow, God Bless you all and please stay safe. Group hug JB

Jacquie I hope you are feeling better. I guess it is going to be quite awhile till we can all relax again and will have to cope as best we can. Wishing your family and you all the best.
