I am trying to grow these from seed. The first batch I just pressed down on top of the soil. I read something on the pack that said to start them in the cool soil of the spring. Where I am at spring is not so cool. Will this make a difference? Any tips? Do these seeds actually have to be covered?

Eric,

I found a link for agastache 'Fragrant Carpet'.

https://parkseed.com/fragrant-...

Besides reading the section; About this Product; click onto Reviews and How to....

Hopefully, it will help you.

@MrsBinWY, since you've grown it from seeds, could you offer any help to Eric?

Hi Eric,

Sorry I've not been around and missed your question. With luck, you're already admiring your new, baby seedlings Thumbs up

Below is a screenshot of last year's sowing and germination notes (need to click on the image to actually read the text).

Come to think of it, the public view is here: Hummingbird Mint (Agastache aurantiaca 'Fragrant Carpet') (Scroll nearly to the bottom of the page.)

FYI - Our "room temperature" in the winter and spring is 65-ish during the day and 55-ish at night.

Good wishes for your success!

Michelle
