Sally, anything you see is by chance, I wasn't trying for anything, just movement. I see a person running, if I turn it there are dancers, upside down maybe a person on a bike. So many possibilities.

That's the beauty of homemade pillows, quilts, etc! The colors, the shapes, how it feels; it's all so splendid!

That is SO true. As an art teacher, that is one of the hardest things my students struggle with. We naturally crave pattern, repetition, order, and we tend to replicate that desire in our art.

I started a hexagon pieced project a few years ago, to use up my scraps (all quilters, sewers and yarn crafters here go ).... long story short, planning my scraps is driving me nuts. After making covid masks, making new scraps, I think when I pick it up again I will abort the whole initial plan and just go random- hopefully...

Beautiful front cover! Is that your dog?

Dad's wife gave me this diamond painting thing for my birthday in December. It's really not a painting, you stick these tiny diamond faceted beads on the canvas. These beads are so tiny! I've been also working on an actual paint by number painting, as well (about 16 x 20)

I finally finished glazing my naked man, this picture I also found from the internet , it was painted by an old master David, he painted a lot of pictures of Napoleon. Anyway, I got one for my house for cheap.

My painting below, I had trouble with his feet, I think feet are the hardest part to paint, there's a special class for it and I haven't taken it yet. Then we have this pandemic. I might need to read books and self taught myself.
